No, never. ABBTECH’s services are 100% free to candidates. We are paid by the client companies who hire us to find qualified professionals. If any staffing firm asks you for payment, that’s a red flag.
How does ABBTECH get paid?
ABBTECH is paid by the hiring company. For contract and contract-to-hire roles, we bill our clients an hourly rate that covers your wages, benefits (if applicable), payroll taxes, and our service fee. For direct-hire placements, we charge the client a one-time fee based on a percentage of your starting salary.
Is every staffing company the same?
Not at all. ABBTECH stands out because we focus on quality over quantity, maintain strong client relationships, and have deep expertise in the industries we serve—particularly IT and Engineering. We’re not just recruiters—we’re career partners.
How do I get started with ABBTECH?
Start by applying for a job that matches your skills, or email your to info@abbtech.com. If your resume is a match for any of our open positions one of our recruiters will review your application and follow up to schedule a phone or virtual interview.
How long does ABBTECH’s process take?
Initial phone interviews typically take 15–30 minutes. If you’re a match for an open role, additional interviews may be scheduled with our client. The full process can range from a couple of days to a few weeks depending on the position and requirements.
How long will it take to find a job through ABBTECH?
It depends on your experience, industry demand, and flexibility. Some candidates are placed within days, while others may take longer. We work to align your skills and goals with the right opportunity.
How will I be notified about opportunities?
Your ABBTECH recruiter will reach out directly with job opportunities that match your profile. You can also browse open roles on our website.
Do I get to choose which jobs to be submitted for?
Yes, always. We’ll only submit your resume to a client after discussing the opportunity with you and receiving your consent.
Does ABBTECH offer benefits?
Yes. Eligible employees may receive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more. Specific benefits and eligibility are discussed during onboarding.
How do I get paid?
Most ABBTECH contractors submit time sheets through our online portal. We typically pay weekly via direct deposit.
Can a temporary job turn into a permanent one?
Yes. Many ABBTECH contractors are converted to permanent hires by our clients. We specialize in temp-to-hire opportunities.
Will my information remain confidential?
Yes. ABBTECH only shares your resume and background with potential clients after discussing the opportunity with you and getting your permission.
What if a client wants to hire me directly?
That’s great news! If you’re in a contract or temp-to-hire role, ABBTECH and the client will handle the conversion process. There is never a fee for you.
